An IoTwins event: BSC and FCBarcelona Facility Management solutions

IoTwins is an European project that will work to lower the barriers for the uptake of Industry 4.0 technologies to optimize processes and increase productivity, safety, resiliency, and environmental impact.

Under this project, FC Barcelona ​​in collaboration with the Barcelona Supercomputing are developing and testing computer edge technology and artificial intelligence to improve facility management. Regarding FC Barcelona’s contribution to the project, we are working on the design of a digital twin of the stadium that will serve to predict the behavior of the fans and improve security, the comfort of attendance and the satisfaction of the experience, in addition to optimizing commercial resources. The final objective is that with all the information that is provided, the model manages to make the most precise and accurate predictions possible about the flows of fans and their behavior taking into account different scenarios. FC Barcelona together with BSC are organizing an open Day to explain the overall project and the technology to other interested satkeholders, assuming that other sectors and agents can benefit from the FC Barcelona experience to apply IoTwins technology.
