Intercut 2020: a workshop on automated machine tool for machining tests

9th Mar 2020

At the end of January in Cluses, the International Machining Meeting Intercut 2020 presented 14 technical workshops to the participants. Among them, the workshop “Automated machine tooling for mass production machining tests” showed how, thanks to the multi-sensor instrumentation of the machines, it is possible to collect data and analyse it in order to anticipate variations in the machining process and gain in productivity.

Roger Busi of Cetim, partner in the IoTwins project, explains the device in detail.
