Registration open for ‘Digital Twin for Industry’ workshop
The workshop introduces industrial Digital Twins (DT): virtual representation and digital representation of a physical object or an engineering process. The state of the art of DT will be shown, with a focus on Design DT and Service DT, i.e. the Digital Twin used both in the virtual design phase and in the production phase for “data-driven” predictive analysis. The need for advanced simulation through the use of massively parallel high performance computing (HPC) will be highlighted. Industrial use cases from European co-funded projects, including IoTwins, will be shown.
The workshop, organised by Cineca in collaboration with the IoTwins project, will be held on 14 December in hybrid mode.
